From Rubber Closet to rubber wardrobe

For years, Madame Caramel’s Rubber Room and its Rubber Closet were one of the best-known features of London Dungeon Suite: a private playspace devoted to the look, scent and feel of latex. Our legendary rubber collection has moved with us to the Tower Bridge penthouse, where it remains a centrepiece.

One open-plan space

Because the new suite is open-plan, the Rubber Room is no longer a separate room. The collection now lives in a dedicated rubber wardrobe, and the specialist medical pieces that used to sit in the rubber playspace — the gyno chair and the toilet chair — have been integrated into the main dungeon.

The result is more freedom: you can dress in a catsuit, move from the cage to the throne and finish wrapped in an inflatable bag without ever leaving the scene.

Whether you are a seasoned rubberist or trying latex for the first time, the wardrobe lets you explore without buying a whole collection of your own.

How to add rubber to your booking

  1. Book your session

Reserve a daytime session, overnight stay or longer booking online.

  2. Tell us what you would like

Email us the pieces and sizes you want so the wardrobe can be prepared before you arrive.

  3. Dress and play

Your selection is waiting in the suite. Take your time dressing; latex rewards patience.

  4. Leave it with us

Simply leave the pieces you wore in the suite: cleaning is part of the service.

Latex hygiene and care

Latex is worn directly against the skin, so hygiene comes first. Access to the wardrobe is by pre-arranged agreement precisely so that every piece can be checked before your session and properly cleaned afterwards.

This is in line with the cleaning carried out across the suite after every booking with Versan viricidal disinfectant and our Luxibel UVC system. You can read the full protocol on our hygiene and safety page.

A few tips for wearing hired latex

  • Shower before dressing and remove rings, bracelets and sharp jewellery that could tear thin rubber.
  • Keep long nails away from the material and ease each piece on slowly rather than pulling.
  • Avoid oil-based creams and lubricants on latex: they can damage it.
  • Enclosure pieces such as the vacbed, body bags and inflatable hoods restrict movement and breathing: never leave anyone unattended, agree a clear non-verbal signal and keep the session short the first time.
